I really didn’t get the genius of The Tics until Kemo broke it down on the phone during a conversation we had about The Great Hip Hop Debate between him and Ali debating who created the St. Louis style. And before I proceed, lemme say the answer depends on who you ask. If you ask people that don’t live here, they will say Nelly & St. Lunatics. But if you ask St. Louis, the Lou would say Da Hol 9.
