We are a week away from the 3rd year anniversary of #Ferguson… movement folks, black misleadership and orgs are trying to reinvent themselves and pass off a revisionist history… don’t be fooled,

”Black August is coming up on us. It was HSSU, not any of the PWI’s that first had the higher ed. response to the Mike Brown killing. Ironically some misguided activists attacked the school that was trying to implement programs to help them. I recall confronting them months later at the protest site later asking them the question “Did MLK ever march on Alabama State during the Montgomery Bus Boycott?” *Blank Looks*; I moderated the panel for this event. It was out of this event the Ferguson Commission (template was based on the civil unrest studies of the 60s) was first discussed and later implemented. When you look at the people who served on the commission, read the document, you can see which local leaders had the good sense to decline serving. PWI’s (Predominantly White institutions) got the research money to study black death, diagnose it, and request more money for further research (Its what PWI’s do). It was a couple weeks after this people outside of STL hijacked the local Hands-Up initiative; and state union leadership blocked an attempt to get funds from national union leadership to have an organized labor response to Ferguson. Simultaneously, there was a initiative on recalling the leadership of Ferguson that was derailed. It was all over by the end of October, people just did not know it yet. A lot of NGO’s made money off that boys’ blood. More comments to come” – Reynaldo Anderson
